Costa Property & Business is a small office on the Costa Blanca. Small is not a stage on the way to big here — it is how we want to work.

What that means in practice

You speak to the owner. Henk answers the phone himself, comes to the viewings himself and comes to the notary himself. There is no call centre and no changing contact person who has to read your file for the third time.

That comes with a limit: we do not have thousands of properties. We have a few dozen, and for every one of them we know why it is for sale. If you are looking for something that is not among them, say so — we also know houses that are not online yet.

Buying in a country whose rules you do not know

Most people who buy a house here do it once in their lives. You do not know how things are done in Spain, and you do not need to — but somebody in the process has to. We live here, we work here, and we know which questions you should ask before you sign.

We are estate agents, not notaries and not tax advisers. For the legal and tax side we refer you to someone trained for it. That is not passing the buck; that is the difference between advice and an opinion.
